Civil Rights Litigation

Civil Rights LitigationWe protect individual rights to fully participate in our community. This means full participation in government services and private accommodations. This protection includes housing, access to government services and programs, and access to private businesses (referred to in law as “public accommodations”).

Everyone is entitled to participate in our community’s public and private services.  This global participation enhances our community’s dignity. We protect the civil rights of individuals related to disability, race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, national origin, ancestry, marital status, or pregnancy. We also advocate for those individuals who are facing retaliation for having asserted a right.

We enforce the requirements of the civil rights laws to help our clients achieve and maintain independence and full participation. These laws include the federal Civil Rights Acts, the Fair Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act.
